Milan
Milan is located in northern Italy, capital of Lombardy, and the second-most populous city in Italy after Rome. Milan, a metropolis in Italy's northern Lombardy region, is a global capital of fashion and design. Home to the national stock exchange, it's a financial hub also known for its high-end restaurants and shops. The Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing Leonardo da Vincis mural The Last Supper, testify to centuries of art and culture. Milan is the right place for the foodies and shoppers, you can buy some premiums italian goods, fine leather bags and purses. As for the food, treat yourself to some of their signature dishes, salad Caprese, Panna Cotta, or the world known Tiramisu.
Como Lake
Lake Como, in Northern Italys Lombardy region, is an upscale resort area known for its dramatic scenery, set against the foothills of the Alps. Lake Como, also known as Lario, is the third largest of the Italian lakes and, with a maximum depth of approximately 410 meters, is also one of the deepest lakes in Europe.The lake is shaped like an upside-down Y, with three slender branches that meet at the resort town of Bellagio. At the bottom of the southwest branch lies the city of Como, home to Renaissance architecture and a funicular that travels up to the mountain town of Brunate.The Como lakes provides one of the most picturesque sceneries in the world. You'll be surprised to learn about the many things to do in Lake Como.
Our itinerary
Day 1 - 30.04.2020 - Departure from Trocadro, Paris
Lets get together at Trocadro at 21h30, the bus will depart half an hour later. We will arrive at the beautiful Como Lake the following day.
Day 2- 1.05.2020 - Wander around Como lake
Time to forget about Paris pollutions, ebullience and to reconnect with nature, Como lake is the ideal place, wander around the picturesque villages, now you get the meaning of a Carpe Diem lifestyle. Some ideas of what you can do of your free day; Visit Como Cathedral, Como Funicular, Explore Varenna. Varenna Lisa Mathiasen, Visit Piona Abbey, Stop by San Fedele Church,Take the boat to Bellagio. In the afternoon at around 16h, we will head to beautiful Milan, where youll have a night rest in a 4**** hotel.
Day 3 -2.06.2020 - Day in Milan
Wake up in this magnificent italian city, after breakfast youll have the entire day to visit some of the most important monuments this town has to offer, like the Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Sforzesco Castle, Santa Maria delle Grazie, Sempione Park, to mention some of the many sites you can visit.
Day 4 - 3.06.2020 - Morning in Milan and going back to Paris
Enjoy a slow and delicious Milanese breakfast then head to the city to profit a little more of the italian lifestyle. We will all meet up at Lunch time. Next to traditional dishes, Jollibee settled its first European branch in Milan, and of course we will grab our lunch there ! Afterwards, we will be on our way to Paris, the estimated departure time is at 14h, and our arrival will be at around 22h30.
